Still active walking, hiking and horseback riding. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful and successful family. Roxanne and her husband, Tom Griffiths, are CPA's and also own a very successful sports bar in downtown Spokane. I get gift certificates for 24 Taps Burgers & Brews. My son works for Williams Gas Pipeline as a district operator where I worked for 20 years and is active in the outdoors. Alec, grandson, is a senior at Eastern Washington University where his parents graduated from. Granddaughter, Rachel, is a sophomore at the University of Washington in Seattle. I intend to get a puppy in the spring to keep me company and active.
I was a shy girl studying very hard. Not too many of my classmates remember who the heck I am. Well, my shyness is gone (don't know if that's good or bad). The class I remember most is the swimming class at the Y across the street. I probably enjoyed my bookkeeping class the best. The teacher I remember most is Dorothy Travis, my Office Practice teacher. I can see her now - her short body and smiling face.

Am still living in the same place - Airway Heights, WA (7 miles west of Spokane). This town is growing rapidly - many new homes and apartments. A new casino west of Airway Heights - Spokane Indian Tribe, to compete with Northern Quest Casino (Kalispel Indian Tribe north east of me). Traffic is getting horrible on Hwy 2 - get me out into the country again - "somewhere in the middle of Montana" (a verse from Merle Haggard's song, "Big City," one of my favorite country songs. Still have my wonderful horse, Sugarfoot, now 19, but all the snowstorms and rain (unusual) this spring and the smoke from fires in Idaho, Montana, Canada, middle of Washington State and Oregon this summer, interrupted my trail riding and outdoor hikes this year. Also, I did so much dog sitting (about 12 times this year), that I was only able to ride Sugarfoot 3 times in June. Next year is going to be different. I'll be out riding and hiking more, and I'm going to get a puppy next spring to train her (I like female dogs and boy horses) to be my hiking companion.
